With the most wonderful time of the year just around the corner, it is time to start preparing those traditional recipes that everyone loves. From baked goods to traditional meals, it is time to elevate those sweet and savory holiday classics with CBD-oil-infused recipes that will amaze your family.

1.   CBD Eggnog

A festive quick, and easy treat, creamy and enriched with CBD oil that will bring comfort this holiday season.

Ingredients for the Eggnog (serves 8):

• 3 cups (700ml) whole milk
• 1 cup (240ml) heavy or double cream
• 3 cinnamon sticks
• 1 vanilla bean pod, split and seeds removed
• 1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg, plus more for garnish
• 5 eggs, separated
• 2/3 (130g) cup granulated sugar
• 3/4 cup (175ml) Bacardi Dark Rum, or bourbon (optional)

CBD-infused Eggnog:

• 250ml of eggnog
• 3 droppers of Gaia Hemp CBD oil

How to prepare:

In a saucepan, combine milk, cream, cinnamon, vanilla bean, vanilla seeds, and nutmeg. Bring to the boil over medium heat. Once boiling, remove from the heat and allow to steep.

In a large bowl or stand mixer, beat egg yolks and sugar until combined and thick ribbons form when the whisk is lifted. 

Slowly whisk in the milk and mix until the mixture is combined and smooth. Add bourbon or rum and stir. Refrigerate overnight or for up to 3 days. Before serving, beat the egg whites in a large bowl or stand mixer until soft peaks form. Gently fold into eggnog until combined. 

Serve with 3 droppers of Gaia Hemp CBD oil and garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.

2.   CBD-Infused Hot Chocolate

A creamy and rich sweet hot chocolate, perfect for a chilly night during the holiday season.

Ingredients:

• 1 cup of milk (whole is preferred)
• 1 tbsp cocoa powder
• 1 tbsp sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 dropper of Gaia Hemp CBD oil
• Whipped cream

How to prepare:

Combine all the ingredients into a small saucepan except for the whipped cream. Put the heat on medium and stir consistently until the milk develops steam. 

Pour into a cup, and top with the whipped cream.

3.   CBD Christmas Sugar Cookies

Quick and easy Christmas sugar cookies loaded with holiday cheers.

Ingredients:

• 2 ½ cups of flour
• 1 cup of sugar
• 1 cup of Gaia Hemp CBD oil
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp of baking powder
• 1 tsp of vanilla extract
• 1 tsp of salt
• Frosting of your choice

How to prepare:

In a large bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, Gaia Hemp CBD oil, and vanilla extract until all the ingredients are incorporated. In another bowl, mix the flour, the baking powder, and the salt.

Slowly add the dry ingredients to the CBD mixture, stirring until all the ingredients are mixed, forming a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Remove the dough and preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Roll the dough on a smooth, floured surface until it is approximately 1/3-inch thick. Cut the dough into fun Christmas shapes and bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes (until light, golden brown).

• CBD-Infused Gravy

Prepare your delicious Christmas turkey gravy with CBD oil to cherish and wow your family and guests.

Ingredients: 

• 45 grams of plain flour
• 45 grams of fat drippings of a roasted turkey
• 250 grams of turkey drippings
• 120 ml of milk
• 15 mg of Gaia Hemp CBD oil
• Salt – to taste
• Pepper – to taste

How to prepare:

Start by collecting the fat drippings from the roasted turkey in a tray and setting them aside. Transfer it into a saucepan and cook over medium heat. Upon sizzle, whisk, and add flour.

Stir continuously until it dissolves without leaving any lumps. Add the turkey drippings and the milk and simmer for another five minutes. Add salt and pepper. Remove from the heat and add the Gaia Hemp CBD Oil. You can serve it as a side dish or assemble it with a roasted turkey slice.
