The study found CBD effective against a diverse range of over 20 different types of bacteria, including several drug-resistant strains and the sometimes difficult-to-treat family of Gram-negative bacteria.

Also, another study has found that cannabinoids were as effective or more effective at killing MRSA, one of the deadliest known forms of bacteria encountered by physicians, that does not respond to many antibiotics and can spread through the body causing life-threatening infections.

The results of these studies indicate that CBD has proven to be effective at fighting several strains of bacteria, including the most resistant ones. Many people are now using CBD to treat different diseases caused by bacteria. It can be a natural cure for a wide range of infections caused by various types of bacteria.

Research has shown that CBD and other cannabis compounds present significant antibacterial activity. Furthermore, the cannabinoids in the plant may work together to provide antibacterial properties that can help treat several diseases and conditions. It is worth mentioning that these studies were conducted in labs (in test tubes and on bacteria cultures) and not on human subjects. Researchers still do not know what made CBD powerful at fighting infections during the experiments.
