Recipes for Christmas and Holidays

With Christmas just around the corner what we want most is to gather friends and warm our loved ones’ hearts and in doing so we heat our own as well.

What is your favorite part of the Christmas season? Is it decorating the tree, receiving and giving gifts, seeing family and friends, having Christmas Eve parties, or making Christmas cookies?

One thing we cannot deny! There is no better date to prepare goodies to offer as a gift or prepare supper and welcome friends.

Nothing better than snuggling up on the couch with a big fluffy blanket and watching movies on a snowy day, eating cookies, and hot chocolate is also a must on snowy days! What better way to unwind than to infuse your hot chocolate with some CBD oil?

But why cook with CBD oil?

CBD oil has an earthy flavor due to the terpenes found in the plant. If you want to avoid the natural taste, cooking or infusing your meals with CBD oil is a good idea to mask the taste. It also means getting the benefits of CBD oil effortlessly. CBD oil blends and blends well with cooking fats and oils. When cooking or baking with CBD oil, you should do it over medium heat and avoid heating the CBD oil directly, as the components evaporate at high temperatures.

Heads up!

The downside of ingesting it is that the effect of CBD oil will take longer to be felt. Dosage is compromised as the amount of CBD in cookies is not determined. Therefore, to feel the same effect as taking oil as a tincture, eat more cookies. Heating CBD can weaken potency as some components evaporate at high temperatures. However, you can bake at a low temperature or add CBD oil when the cookies are at room temperature.

We separate two super easy and delicious recipes for you to enjoy this special season!

Merry Christmas!
